THE HOLY SCRIPTURES MAKES US WISE
The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy stating that: "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto good works." 1 Timothy 3:15 - 17.
Please note that when Paul stated these words, to Timothy, the New Testament had not yet been written. Paul was talking about the Old Testament. Notice what Paul said to Timothy: "that the scripture (which now includes the New Testament) makes one wise unto salvation." Not some, but all scripture is the inspired word of God.

THE HOLY SCRIPTURE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD
"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of men: but holy men spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." 2 Peter 1:21.
It is often, said by people, that men wrote the bible, and that is true. The bible tells us that the scripture is the inspired word of God. God allowed those holy men writing the scripture, to write the words of what he had given them to say, in their own language. There are sixty-six books in the bible, written over hundreds of years by most men, who had never met each other, yet they all are in agreement with each other. The bible is not written, in chronological order, and so we are to search the scripture, as searching for buried treasure.
HOW ARE WE TO STUDY THE BIBLE
"For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little." Isaiah 28:10.
The Lord did not leave us in darkness, as how we should study the bible. We are to study it over, and over again, each line at a time, some parts here, and some parts there. When the answers are not found in one part of the bible, we are to look in other parts of the bible for answers. The bible needs no human interpretations, because the bible interprets itself.
When studying the bible, pray, an ask God to give you understanding of the scriptures. The Holy Spirit will guide you, teach you, and lead you to the truths of God's words.

DOES THE BIBLE NEED MAN'S INTERPRETATION?
Just because something seems right, and sounds good, does not mean that it is, and in the long run, they will lead to eternal death, and eternal separation from a loving God, who wants the very best for us, and wants to save us from our sins. The bible states that: "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but in the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 16: 25, and Proverbs 14:12.
The bible does not need man's interpretation. The bible interprets itself. The bible states that: "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." 1 Peter 1:20.

In Times Of Trouble
Experiencing troubles in your life. You are not alone. God is with you, and surrendering your all to him, is the best thing to do. God will take your troubles, and he will work things out for you. God is never late, he is always on time. God should always be the first one you call on, in times of need. You should stay connected to God at all times. God wants to have daily communion with you, he wants to hear from you, each day, not just when troubles come. Praise the Lord, even in hard times, sad times, bad times, good times. In all things, you should give praise, and honor to God. The bible says: "The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles." Psalm 34:15, 17. God will deliver you out of all your troubles.
In Need Of A Helping Hand?
"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." Psalm 121: 1, 2.
"Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:28 - 31.
There are times when you have to wait on the Lord, but remember that he is always there ready and willing to hear your earnest cry. Don't give up hope, the Lord is working things out for you. The Lord wants to hear from you, he is not far away. You will never be able to wear him out with your problems. He is a great Problem Solver.

The Fox That Fell Down A Well
The story is told of a fox that fell down a well. Here's how the story goes.
Once upon a time, a long time ago, a fox fell down a well. He was stuck there for quite a while. Finally a goat wandered by. "What are you doing?" asked the goat curiously. "Stay away," snarled the fox. "This is my water." "That's not fair" snapped the goat. "Why should you get all the water?" The goat jumped in the well. The fox leaped on the goat's back and out of the well. He ran off happily leaving the goat in the well.
Moral Of The Story:
Do not always believe what you hear from someone who is in trouble.
Jesus Responds To The Pharisees
Jesus called King Herod a fox. Here is what happened:
"The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected." Luke 13:31 - 32.
Don't always take life so seriously. A sense of humor is good, and laughter does a body good. It is good medicine for the soul. Yes there are bad things that happen in our lives. We go through one crisis after another, and sometimes it's difficult to smile, and that's O.K. When in the lion's den, it is not always easy, but rest assure, that God will shut the mouth of the lions for you, you will not be devoured by the problems in your life, he will always be there for you. Draw near to the Lord, and put your trust in him. He will never leave you by yourself, he will be right there beside you.

An atheists filed a motion in court seeking to have a national holiday for his religion. The atheists argument was that the Jews had the Passover, and other holidays. The Christians had Good Friday, Easter and Christmas, and he wanted a holiday also. After listening to his argument, the judge said "case dismissed." The atheists asked the Judge how could he dismiss the case without a ruling. The judge responded that the atheists had a holiday. What is that holiday the atheist wanted to know. The judge said he had April Fool's Day.

To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: (Proverbs 1:2, 3,4.)

Going Through A Rough Time?
The Lord promises He will never leave you and He will never forsake you. God said He will be with be with you until the very end. He wants to speak with you and to reason with you. God promises there is a better world to come, to put your trust in him. Accept his gift of salvation, His only Son Jesus Christ who died, arose from the grave to save you from your sins. Jesus with outstretched arms bids you come to him each day.. He wants to hear from you. He loves you very much.
Prayer
When you put your trust in God, and you pray to him, He delights to hear from you. Study the book of Job, and you will find yourself in there some place. It has many of your situation(s) of what Job went through. It has been said that Job lost everything, but that is not taught by the bible. Yes Job lost most of his possession, but he had his house, his wife, female servants, and male servants.
Job trusted in God, and did not understand what was going on. His three friends came to comfort him and for seven days they sat with him in silence. When they began to speak, they started to accuse him of many things that were not true. Troubles will come your way and you may be accused of causing your bad situation. Do not listen to the discourage words they hurdle at you. Look to Jesus, and learn to trust him.
Pray to God, and ask for the things you need. Job when was tried, came through as pure gold, and so will you. You must be tried, you must be tested and by God's grace you will pass each test. Remember you are precious in the sight of a Holy faithful God. Pray to Him each day, and glorify him. Love him not because you love him first, but because He first loved you.
